Anushka who is playing the lead in historical project 'Rudrama Devi' managed to get an introduction scene on par with any of the A-list action heroes in the Industry. Director Gunasekhar has taken extra care in every aspect and designed a special introduction for the leggy lass that elevates her character to a next level.
In the opening sequence, Anushka in Rani Rudrama Devi getup will be seen riding a horse at full speed into a heavily populated area where people are running to save their lives from a wild elephant. The princess tames the huge animal single handedly and receives heaps of praise from the people.
Of course, the elephant fight sequence is something similar to that of Hrithik Roshan's in the Bollywood film 'Jodha Akhbar', but this time with different actor and different setup.
As the film is a biopic of Kakatiya Dynasty ruler Rani Rudrama Devi, Anushka has learnt horse riding and sword wielding techniques to fight the rivals in the war-field sequences. From cast & crew to expensive sets to special episodes, every report about Rudrama Devi has been generating tremendous pre-release buzz. Seems like, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a money spinner at the Box Office.
