‘Yevadu’ postponed to 31st July

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Yevadu’ which is supposed to release on 25th July is now moved to 31st July. Incidentally it happens to the same day that Tollywood’s biggest blockbuster in this decade ‘Magadheera’ was released. We already know that Yevadu has a similar dialogue where the protagonist asks the villain to send hundred fighters at the same time, which was a huge hit with masses. With this change we can assume that Ram Charan is going by the sentiment of repeating Magadheera magic by deciding to release ‘Yevadu’ on the same date.

This may have an impact on Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Athaarintiki Daredi’ movie release on 7th August. Since the fact that there is only one week gap in between two big hero movies and both being from the mega family, it will be interesting to see how things will shape up as far as the release dates are concerned. Whether Pawan Kalyan’s movie will be further shifted due to this or will they take the risk and release it on 7th August as announced earlier, will have to be seen.

Vishwaroopam 2′s last schedule in Chennai

Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Vishwaroopam 2 is fast nearing completion. Few weeks ago, the entire team was in Bangkok to can important action sequences at the airport. The latest buzz is that the final schedule has begun in Chennai and in this schedule, the climax sequence is going to be filmed on Kamal Haasan and Rahul Bose. The setting is that of a bunker located in Afghanistan and a special set has been erected to resemble the actual location. Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah are the lead actresses in this action thriller whereas Sekhar Kapur is playing an important role. Kamal Haasan has also written the script and he’s directing the film. Shamdat is the cinematographer. The film is expected to hit the screens later this year.

Potugadu’s team shooting in Bangkok

 

The principal shooting of Manchu Manoj’s upcoming film Potugadu is fast nearing completion. Currently, the film’s team is in Bangkok to shoot a song on Manoj. The film has four heroines including Simran Kaur Mundi, Anu Priya, Rachel and Sakshi Chowdhary. Pawan Wadeyar is directing the film and it’s being produced by Sirisha and Sridhar under Rama Lakshmi Creations banner. Talking about the film, the director said, “Manoj’s characterization is going to be the major highlight of the film. The story is about a guy and four girls and it is a full length romantic and comedy entertainer. The song ‘Pyar Mein Padipoya’, which Manoj has sung will be quite interesting.” The film’s audio is going to be launched later this month and the film will be release in August.

Attarintiki Dhaaredi gearing up for final song

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Attarindiki Dhaaredi’ is nearing completion. The final song of the film will be shot at Ramoji Film City and set work is going on right now. Art director Ravinder is supervising the efforts.

The film unit completed its European schedule recently. As we revealed earlier, three songs and some talkie scenes were canned in this schedule. Samantha is the heroine in this film and Praneetha will be seen as the second lead.

Trivikram Srinivas is the director of this film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music and BVSN Prasad is the producer of the film. Noted bollywood actor Boman Irani is making his Telugu debut with this movie. AD is currently gearing up for a release in the first week of August.

Bandla Ganesh Unhappy with 'Balupu'

Producer bandla ganesh babu is a down to earth person who speaks his mind openly in film functions whether it is an audio release or a success meet. This might look like over action for others but he never changed his style even though how big producer he may be today doing films with the likes of Ramcharan, Pawan Kalyan and Junior NTR. But, the special feature in his speeches was about the special mentioning of Pawan Kalyan and the warmth of affection Ganesh has towards Power Star which was exemplified many a times.

Some days ago, director Srinu Vaitla revealed that his new movie 'aagadu' would become more hilarious entertainer than 'Dookudu'. Maybe because of this reason, the tagline of 'aagadu' was reportedly confirmed as 'Dookude Dookudu'. It is general practice of organizers and producers to see that DSP’s hoarding gets erected at the launch premises as he has pull value among the crowds.

Devi Sri Prasad was shocked looking at the erections of Mega hoardings but no where seen his. He expressed his grief and walked out. Hence within no time his hoarding was erected to cool him.

Gunasekhar spent 5cr on Anushka’s Jewellery

Gunasekhar who was well reputed for erecting sets in most of his films,as we all know that he got good reviews for his sets in “Okkadu” and “Arjun”. Recent reports says that he is going to set a new benchmark in his career in terms of grandeur with the movie “Rudramadevi”.
“Rudramadevi” is being the first historical Indian film which is being shot in 3D and almost 35% of the shooting has been wrapped up. From July 3rd the next schedule for this movie is ready to begin in Annapurna Seven Acres studio where several scenes and a song is scheduled to shot.

Recent reports say that director Gunashekar spent nearly 5 Crores on the jewellery which Anushka is going to wear in this movie. Neeta Lulla, costume designer who worked for Bollywood “Jodha Akbar” has designed for Anushka and buzz is that she used real gold and diamonds worth 5 Crore for the costume.


Gunashekar said that, “The jewellery designs which Anushka has worn in the film will become as popular as those in Jodha Akbar. Even if it is a big director, present situation is that if he delivers a flop then no producer will be running for him. This is what reality is and let us have a look into a small titbit about this talented director.

So, what happened to director Radhakrishna Jagarlamdu aka Krish finally? After earning a name with 'Gamyam', Krish failed to deliver right commercial project for producers though he hailed praises from critics. Both 'Vedam' and 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' succeeded in enthralling the critical audiences but failed to woo common audience. Right now Krish is in USA to give a lecture and share some valuable inputs regarding film making, production and marketing. Satires are being heard that without himself knowing how to make a movie into a profitable venture, how could Krish give lectures on that.

Few sources revealed that actually Krish is on the lookout for NRI producers or funds to produce another film on his banner. Though he got 'Shivam' lined up with Mahesh Babu, it may take more than two years for that flick to go on floors. Is Krish really hunting for producers then?

She should appear before magistrate regarding a missing complaint filed by her step mother Bharati Devi and another cheating case lodged by producer Kalanjiyam. Even after escaping to attend court for two times, Anjali did the same for third consecutive time too. Today she is actually supposed to attend court, but once again our heroine acted in careless way. Miffed by her acts, Court has given one more last deadline of July 9th to Anjali. If she misses that too, Court warned her with severe consequences.

Balupu nearing 2Cr mark in USA

 

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s action entertainer, ‘Balupu’, is doing very well across all areas. The film is doing well in the United States as well and we have been told that the US collections are very close to the 2 Crore mark.

As of Saturday, figures from reported screens came up to 207,700 US$. With the addition of revenues from Sunday, the figure is now close to the 300,000 US$ mark. The film has already raced past the US$ 250,000 mark set by ‘Mirapakai’. Trade analysts say that the movie will end up as a profitable venture for all parties involved.

Shruti Haasan and Anjali are the heroines in this movie and Gopichand Malineni is the director. PVP Cinema has produced the film.

Balakrishna – Boyapati film to start in Hyd

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu have teamed up for a new project that is being produced by 14 Reels Entertainment banner. The film was supposed to start its shoot in Dubai, but shooting will now begin in Hyderabad from July 15th. Some permissions did not come through in time for the Dubai schedule and the production team therefore decided to start off with Hyderabad instead.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for this film. Balakrishna is currently in the USA on a fund-raising tour for the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital.
