Altogether it is a different scene at Telugudesam party president Chandrababu Naidu's
Self-respect Yaatra today while he is touring Krishna District. Fans who called themselves
as followers of Jr NTR have created hurdles for the yaatra.
During his yaatra at Mettugudem in Krishna district, Naidu refused to garland the state of
legendary NTR citing that time will not be sufficient to cover the scheduled places if he
keeps on garlanding statues all the way. Even after some hardcore fans of NTR and Jr NTR
requested to garland the statue, Naidu refused to do so, giving raise to some tense moments.
Apart from creating hurdles for Naidu's speech, fans have also warned that they will not let the convoy move ahead. Only after Naidu's private security people jumped into the scene to control
those fans, situation has turned peaceful.
However, some fans stated that it is highly disrespectful on Naidu's part to avoid NTR statue
and Jr NTR's fans like this. But one needs to understand the constraints the TDP chief is
having while touring many places in single day.
