Samanta Ruth Prabhu: A good samaritan
Samanta Ruth Prabhu once again proves to be a good samaritan, as the Eega actress takes time off her film commitments to indulge in philanthropy
as well. Her fans collected Rs 50,000 for V. Rajitha, who lost her
right leg in the February 21 twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.
Samanta not only joined her fan club in handing over the cheque to
Rajitha in person, she also donated Rs 2,30,000 to provide an artificial limb for the 23-year-old MBA student from Nizama-bad district. Sam also lends her support to Pratyusha, a charity organisation
for children and women. She recently auctioned the outfits that she has
worn to private dos and award functions, in order to raise funds
for the NGO. The philanthropic star is currently in Spain, shooting a
song with Jr NTR for their upcoming film 'Ramayya Vastavayya'.
